UST Trivandrum Marathon 2024 promises to be the biggest ever marathon in the Kerala capital

In an effort aimed at building public awareness on the need for a healthy society and to commemorate 25 years since its formation, leading digital transformation solutions company UST will host the UST Trivandrum Marathon 2024 this year. The marathon, which also aims at creating awareness among the public and UST employees about a healthier lifestyle, will be organised on October 13, 2024. UST is organising the event in collaboration with NEB Sports.

ప్రతిష్టాత్మక ఇంటర్నేషనల్‌ అసోసియేషన్‌ ఆఫ్‌ ఆల్ట్రా రన్నర్స్‌ (ఐఏయు) 50 కిమీ ప్రపంచ చాంపియన్‌షిప్స్‌ విజయవంతంగా ముగిసింది. హైదరాబాద్‌ కేంద్రీయ విశ్వవిద్యాలయం ప్రాంగణంలో జరిగిన అల్ట్రా రన్‌ రేసు టైటిళ్లను కొత్త చాంపియన్లు గెల్చుకున్నారు. తొలిసారి భారత్‌లో జరిగిన ఈ ఈవెంట్‌లో మహిళల ఐఏయు 50 కిలోమీటర్ల రేసులో కార్లా మోలినరో (గ్రేట్‌ బ్రిటన్‌) 3.18.23 సెకండ్లతో విజేతగా నిలువగా.. ఆండ్రియ పొమరాస్కి (3.19.07, అమెరికా), సారా వెబ్‌స్టర్‌ (3.20.07, గ్రేట్‌ బ్రిటన్‌) టాప్‌-3లో నిలిచారు. మెన్స్‌ 50 కిమీ రేసును 2.48.20 సెకండ్లలో ముగించిన స్పెయిన్‌ అల్ట్రా రన్నర్‌ చాకిబ్‌ లాచ్‌గర్‌ టైటిల్‌ సొంతం చేసుకోగా.. స్పెయిన్‌కే చెందిన అలెగ్జాండ్రో (2.49.30), జీసెస్‌ ఏంజిల్‌ (2.50.12) రజత, కాంస్య పతకాలు దక్కించుకున్నారు. జట్టు విభాగాల్లో గ్రేట్‌ బ్రిటన్‌ (ఉమెన్‌), స్పెయిన్‌ (మెన్‌) విజేతలుగా నిలిచాయి.
