ABOUT CHENNAI HALF MARATHON
The vibrant city Chennai is epitome of Dravidian movement in India. This 350 years old city has the vibe of young hearts. NEB Sports that aims at promoting and developing sports in India, along with promoting a healthy lifestyle amongst the urban population, brings you the Chennai Half Marathon which is going to be scheduled on 24th November 2024 under which 10K and 21K are timed runs and 5K is a fun run which promotes families and friends to join and run together.
Important Notes
- 20 days prior to the event date, transfer of registration, cancellation or any changes will not be accepted.
- INR 200/- will be charged for any transfer of registration or credit note.
- There will be no Partial refund for downgrading of any race category.

With the possible exception of the equator, everything begins here. A peaceful 10K could be on the cards.
5K Fun Run
All the beginners and amateur runners, fret not! One step at a time and an easy 5K might just give you all the push you need.Fastest and age categories will be awarded with the trophies 🏆

Questions
The fee covers entry to the event, BIB with timing chip, complimentary race day t-shirt, finisher medal and hot breakfast.
Race Day T-shirt is complimentary. The sizes are ordered well in advance. While we try our best to get you the correct size, the organisers will not be held responsible in case of shortage of any t-shirt size.
We do not have an option of manual registrations.
Applicants for Half Marathon must be the age of 18years as on 24th November 2024. Applicants for 10K must be the age of 14 years as on 24th November 2024. Applicants for 5K must be the age of 6 years as on 24th November 2024. Minors between 6-12 years must be accompanied by a guardian/parent who is a participant under the same race category.
We may close the registrations early if all our slots are filled. We request you to register early and not wait till the end. We will announce the dates on our Website, Facebook page and other Social media.
Sorry, no cancellations are possible and registration fees are non-refundable.

Under exceptional cases, in case the transaction failed at the payment gateway stage, and if the money was debited but a confirmation was not generated, the money will be credited back to your account within 3 working days automatically. However, please email us at support@nebsports.in with details of your registration - date of registration, name and your mail id and we will follow up to ensure the problem is tracked and closed.
A You confirm that, in the event of adverse weather conditions, major incidents or threats on the day, any of the force majeure or restriction by authority, the organizers reserve the right to stop/cancel/postpone the event.
*The Event Organizers reserve the right to change the course, or make any other amendment to the Event that is deemed necessary to stage the Event. This could include but is not limited to; changing the race route, delaying the race, stopping participants on the course until the situation is deemed appropriate to continue, altering the distance of the route, canceling or other measures deemed necessary.
*The event organizer possesses the sole authority to cancel tickets for the event. Their role includes the discretionary power to postpone and/or cancel the event as deemed necessary by the company's guidelines and policies.
