For the Elite category, only road bikes and cycles with a drop down handlebar will be permitted.
TT/Triathlon cycles, MTBs, Hybrid cycles, cycles with a flat handlebar and fixies (fixed gear bicycles) will not be allowed.
Single speed bicycles with drop down handlebars will be allowed.
For the Amateur category, all types of bicycles except TT/Triathlon cycles will be permitted.
There will be no separate categories as per the type of cycle used.
For the Fun Ride, all types of cycles will be permitted.
NOTE : E-Bikes and motorized bicycles, battery powered and pedal assisted cycles are strictly prohibited. Only cycles that are purely pedal powered will be allowed. Any athlete found using the same will be disqualified from the race. The usage of aerodynamic equipment such as clip-on aerobars, aero skinsuits, aero helmets, aero shoe covers, etc. are strictly prohibited. Any athlete found using the same will be disqualified from the race.
All the riders for the Elite and the Amateur will be given a timing chip along with their bibs.
All the riders will get their finish times as per their chips, but the winners will be decided based on gun timing and a photo finish at the finish line.
For the Fun ride category, there will be no timing chips and no podium finishers.
All the finishers of all the three categories will receive a finisher medal as per their category.
All riders for the Elite and Amateur category will receive three bibs.
One has to be displayed in front of the cycle, mounted on the handlebar and clearly seen.
Bibs where the number is not visible at the photo finish on the finish line might not be eligible for podiums.
The other bib has be pinned on to the backside of the jersey or the right side thigh if pinned on the lower body.
In both conditions, the bib cannot be folded or cut or otherwise altered and the number has to be clearly visible.
The third will be a seat post sticker that has to be stuck on the seat post of the cycle and the number has to be visible from both sides.
For the Fun Ride category, only one bib will be issued which has to be mounted on the handlebar and displayed in front of the cycle clearly.
This race is purely self-supported and riders cannot bring their own support cars or motorcycles.
Race Marshalls will be available all around the course on motorcycles and there will be a lead vehicle ahead of the leading rider.
There will also be support crews on motorcycles to assist with mechanical issues, punctures etc. on the course.
Apart from that, riders are not allowed to have their personal support crews or photo/videographers on the course.
Only the riders with valid bibs will be allowed to enter the course.
The Timing cut-offs for each category will be as follows
Those who finish the race beyond the above mentioned cut-off timing will be officially declared as DNF but will still receive the finisher’s medal.
All riders should wear closed toed shoes and helmets while racing.
No helmet = No ride.
